Salsa’s Restaurant

Food Review:

Have you been to Salsa’s Taqueria ll, located in the rid-ade shopping center? They serve authentic Mexican food with a variety of salsas. Luis Esparza and I dine out at Salsas at least once a week and have always enjoyed the experience. The staff is very nice and helpful and the food comes out within ten minutes of ordering. I have tried an array of their Mexican style meals including the Asada Tacos, Carnitas Tacos, Pollo Quesadilla, Fish Tacos and different types of burritos and all the salsas they have. The meals are large and flavorful -most of them are served with rice and beans and a grilled half of jalapeno. For the food that you get the prices are very reasonable. The only thing I have to criticize is that the flavors are not very consistent and some days the food is better than other days. The rice they serve will also vary for the lunch and dinner hours; at lunch, the rice is fluffy and flavorful but at the dinner hours, the rice is dry and has lost some its flavor. On a scale of 1-5 stars, I would award salsas Taqueria ll with 4 stars taking one star away due to consistency errors.
