Drew Brees Is Making NFL History
The New Orleans Saints starting Quarterback has began to make history this NFL 2018-2019 Season. Drew Brees has been an NFL Quarterback since 2001. He was first drafted to the San Diego Chargers for 5 years. Then in 2006 the New Orlean Saints grabbed him and he led the Saints to a Super Bowl XLIV win.
Drew Brees has just recently passed Peyton Manning and Brett Favre in the Most Passing Yards in the NFL. This puts Drews Brees as number 1 with 72,315 yards. The two people behind him are both retired and can’t gain anymore yards to there own record. Peyton Manning has 71,940 passing yards and Brett Favre has 71,838.
Another record Drew Brees is soon to pass is Most Touchdown Passes. He has 501 Touchdown Passes. Currently in front of him is Tom Brady (504), Brett Favre (508), and Peyton Manning (539). If he keeps it up he will soon be at the top of this list as well.
I believe that Tom Brady and Drew Brees will start to compete for these top spots. Both Quarterbacks want to play for as long as they can.
