Senior Profile: Michael Leroy Felgar Jr
October 12, 2018
Entering his Senior year, the phenomenal student, athlete, and friend, Michael Leroy Felgar Jr., has a dream of pursuing his passion for computer engineering. With the exception of his Junior year, Felgar has been playing football since 8th grade when he went out for flag football, and being part of the Bronco team has been a highlight of his high school career. Felgar says that being part of the team has taught him life lessons and given him “a whole lot of brothers”. As for his plans after high school, Felgar plans on leaving home and going to a college somewhere in California or Nevada and is ready to be able to live on his own as well as ready for the challenges that he will face in college.
He’s not without his reservations though, and says that he will miss seeing “the stars at night”, and says that his biggest fear is falling into debt and having a lot of bills to pay. Felgar says that he plans to major in computer engineering so he can one day have a job where he is developing computer technology. As the clock winds down on his time here at BUHS, he hopes he will leave behind a legacy of being “a chill dude”. Those that know him best know that this brilliant young man will accomplish whatever he sets his mind to, and they will all miss him while he’s gone.
