Josh Santana

Josh Santana, is a graduating senior of the class of 2019 here at Bishop Union High School and has brought our school much joy after his participation in multiple clubs such as choir, interact, and debate club. Or even from playing the role as a munchkin in The Wizard of Oz or in the up and coming production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where he will play the main role of Willy Wonka. Not only does Josh have an appreciation for the arts but for our little town, where he has enjoyed all the different aspects of Bishop from the Fair or the Millpond Music Festival or just simply driving down the back roads of our town.

After interviewing Josh as well as knowing this lover of cats, cool flowers and sunsets, long bike rides and his family and dog he has developed a splendid life within his hometown, and has spread his love and open mindedness to his fellow students as he has participated in multiple activities within his school and community. As well as living his life by the motto of by being flexible does not mean you are weak it means you understand how to adapt in order to get the most out of the world around you. With this mindset he has decided he does want to go to college after high school to one day be able to teach but while also pursuing music as a hobby. As the interview ended I asked what his biggest goal in life and he relayed to me that his main goal in life is to find a cat that will not make his eyes puffy as well as find a permanent happiness of wherever he is in life.
