The Bronco Boys Suffer Their Second Loss of the Season

The Bronco Boys have yet to find their stride early in the season, losing their second game in their 4 game home stand. It didn’t take long for the Broncos to find themselves in a 7-0 deficit courtesy of a full back dive up the middle. The Fighting Scotts held on to the lead until Sophomore Clay Omohundro completed a touchdown pass to Steven Paco in the final seconds of the first half. The second half started with a scoreless third quarter, but Rim of the World went back to their run game and was able to get it back into the end zone on an outside run. The Broncos didn’t go down without a fight though, as they put up a good fight on their final drive that ended when they couldn’t complete a fourth down pass. After this loss the boys are 1-2 on the season, with another home game next week against Whittier Christian. Coach Palu says that he is “very confident” and the team “had a good week of practice and are ready to take on this team coming into town”. Palu also says that while thy are “constantly making changes” to the offense and defense strategies, he feels that the problem lies more in the “execution of the offense”. This week will see if the Broncos can make the necessary adjustments to snap their losing streak and defend their home turf, so come out and watch this exciting game.
