Paige Lary Senior Profile

Taylor McCormick

I’ve been lucky enough to be in a class, Bronco RoundUp, with Paige Lary. She is kind hearted, funny, and a great writer that Bronco RoundUp staff will definitely miss. I had the time to interview her for her senior profile, questions about graduating and life after! Take a look…

Q: What do you plan on doing after high school?

A: After High School, I am planning on going to a four year college. I got into the University of Utah, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Berkeley. Right now, I am deciding between UCSB and Berkeley.

Q: Will you be Moving?

A: Yes, I will be moving

Q: If so, What will you miss most about Bishop?

A: I will miss the wilderness, especially the mountains. They’re really beautiful and I’ve spent a lot of time snowboarding, hiking, and camping in them. I’m also going to miss all of my friends!

Q: Is there anything you’ll miss about BUHS?

A: Definitely NOT the bathroom policy

Q: What are you most excited for after graduation?

A: I get to go to on the senior Europe trip! I’m stoked about that! I’m also excited to spend one last summer with my friends, and to move to a new area in the fall.

Q: What is your biggest fear for after graduation?

A: My biggest fear is that I’m going to burn out in college. Going to school is exhausting and I feel so drained that I don’t want to go to college… but I’m hoping that my new surroundings and getting to learn new subjects will encourage me to power through at least another four more years

Q: Do you feel prepared for college and/or life outside of highschool?

A: Sort of.

Q: Why?

A: I feel like I can take care of myself but there is so many things that I do not know how to do. Like, Filing taxes, scheduling doctor’s appointment and normal everyday adult stuff.

Q: What career do you want to pursue?

A: I don’t have a career in mind. Hopefully I can do something fun!

Q: Why this career?

A: I’d like to do something fun because if my job is super boring then I won’t be happy. I enjoy writing and being outside, so I’d like to incorporate that into whatever future career I have.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: In ten years??? No idea! I’d like to see myself out of grad school, but I haven’t given too much thought about what will happen after I get my BA

Q: How will you want Bishop Union High School to remember you?

A: I’d like to be remembered as someone fun and friendly.
