Shelby is in her senior year of high school and is moving on to amazing things in her life. I interviewed Shelby Zemel to find out what she plans on doing after high school and how she feels about the big change coming.

Q: Do you plan on going to college? If so, where?
A: “Yes, I do plan on going to college. I will attend Cerro Coso Community College and transfer to the University of Nevada Reno.”

Q: If you are leaving Bishop, what will you miss?
A: “When I do eventually leave Bishop, I will miss my family and being able to go off-roading pretty much whenever I want.”

Q: What are you most excited about after graduation?
A: “After graduation, I am most excited to go out to L.A. to speak with different modeling agencies and recording studios.”

Q: What is your biggest fear after graduation?
A: “My biggest fear for after graduation is that I will be alone and, once in UNR, I won’t have my family there if I ever need assistance.”

Q: If you are going to college, do you feel prepared?
A: “I do feel prepared for college, but at the same time, I do not. I feel prepared education wise, but I am unready for the real world and the different challenges that come with that.”

Q: What job/career do you want to pursue? And why?
A: “I want to pursue a career as a model and musician, but I will, also, pursue a career as a Physician so that I have something to fall back on.”
