Boys Varsity Soccer Season Preview

“Unsuccessful people make decisions based on their current situations. Successful people make decisions based on where they want to be.” The Broncos have taken this to heart as they set their sights on being undefeated in the High Desert League. The Bishop Broncos will be looking to improve on their 9 wins and 1 loss record of last season in HDL play. The Broncos are also very excited for the CIF playoffs as they look to advance past the quarterfinals, an objective that they failed to meet last season.

The team has  been working extremely hard in training in order to be completely prepared for their fast approaching season. The team is already showing progress and just how fit they are by continuing to push their limits. Their new coach Jeff Gabriel is excited and hopeful that the broncos will accomplish their goals this season.

The returning varsity players from last year are Angel Cortez, Joshua Hembree, Carlos Laguna, Demmis Renteria, Chris Sandoval, Diego Solorio, Alex Torres, Cristian Cortez, Arturo Lemmis, Israel Santana and, Ismael Santana.

The new players on the Varsity team this season are Julian Lopez, Martin Cruz-Martinez, Jorge Fierro-Velasquez, Jason Garcia Santana, Estaban Gonzalez, Kennedy Michel, Brennan Bell, Gabriel Bell, Christian Morales, Evan Sears, and Roberto Solorio.
