Interview Questions and Answers

1.How do you feel being a freshman on varsity?

Paco: At this point after week 10, I feel that I’m a part of something I thought would never happen my freshman year and am willing to help out any way possible.

Manny:  I feel honored. It is a privilege to experience this as a young athlete.

2. What are your thoughts about the team?

Paco: I think that our team is full of talent and it will just unveil and show itself to the fans and everyone who supports bronco football as the years come.

Manny: I think this is a very young team that is still developing and has a lot of potential.

3. Why do you think the coaches chose you to be on varsity as a freshman?

Paco: I think the coaches chose me to be on varsity not only because of my physical ability, but more of my mental ability. I feel like I know a lot about the game and different scenarios and that’s more likely why they chose me to be on varsity as a freshman.

Manny: I think the coaches chose me because of my hard work, work ethic and my ability on the field.

4. How do you feel about not only being freshman on varsity but also starting? Do you feel you deserve it?

Paco: I feel like ever since I’ve been varsity, I’ve worked hard to do what I can to benefit the team. I feel that starting is something that gives me more experience for years to come. There are times that I do feel I deserve it but at the same time, there are others who work just as hard as me and have more experience than me on the varsity level.

Manny:  It feels like a dream coming true and feels amazing starting on the varsity and I think I do deserve the spot I worked for.

5. What do you think the rest of the team thinks about you being on varsity?

Paco: I feel that other underclassmen like me look to me as a leader and someone who can help them understand more about the game because of my accomplishments over this football season and the upperclassmen accept of me as one of the brothers.

Manny:  I think they are kinda surprised that a freshman is on varsity and I always try to prove them that I belong there.

Since I, Hunter Beall, am also part of the Bronco Varsity football team I get the privilege to compete with Steven and Manny everyday on the field. In my opinion Manny and Paco are two of the hardest working players on the team and have the best attitudes out of anyone. I haven’t seen them complain or give up once. When I see them making plays at practice and in the games it excites me even more than it does them. It also motivates me to keep going and to play even harder. It has been an honor to play with Paco and Manny this season and I look forward to another great season with them.
