Mammoth Mountain is set to open Thursday, November 9th! While students may not have the opportunity to attend opening day celebrations (like live music, DJs, and free coffee/hot coco at Broadway Express) because of school, there is still plenty of fun to be had during the upcoming three day weekend!

Here is the event schedule for Friday and Saturday at Mammoth Mountain, taken from the resort’s website:

Friday, November 10th

• 1:00-4:00, live music on the Main Lodge Sundeck (band: the Sundowners)
• 7:00, Movie screening at the Westin (movie: Level 1’s Habit)

Saturday, November 11th

• 1:00-4:00, live music on the Main Lodge Sundeck (band: the Sundowners)
• 5:00-7:00, Chasing AdVANture with Chris Benchetler at Mammoth Sports in the Village
• 8:30, movie screening at Kitchen 53 (movie: Absinthe’s TurboDojo, feat. Kimmy Fasani)

According to Mammoth Mountain, “snowmaking guns are still firing around the clock,”  creating a layer of snow in preparation for the expected storm on Thursday.
