Varsity Volleyball loses to Cal City 3-0

The Broncos suffered a tough loss to Cal City on Tuesday, dropping all 3 sets. Bishop lost the first and second sets by the same score of 25-20 and the final set by a score of 25-10. Junior Sydney Frigerio had 5 kills and 2 digs in 3 sets played while fellow junior Danica Thornburg had 2 blocks, also in 3 sets played. Senior Rebeka Riesen had 8 kills, Ashley Worley had 2 kills, a serving ace and 4 digs and Lexi Sigler had one kill and 2 assisted blocks, while all 3 girls played 3 sets. The next game for the Broncos is this Thursday, where they will take on Frazier Mountain.
