Homecoming is an annual American event that most every school participates in, the school plays against another team and it follows with a dance, hopefully celebrating their win. Our high school, however, is putting a little twist on it.

On Friday, September 29th, ASB will be putting on a tailgate. A tailgate is a social gathering at which an informal meal is served in the back of a parked truck/car; it is meant to get you pumped for the game that will take place after. This will be our first and hopefully one of many tailgate parties for Bishop Union High School.

I talked with Cassidy Mann, the sophomore ASB treasure, to share what the tailgate is all about. ASB will be serving hot dogs, hamburgers, fruit, and snacks in our high school parking lot. There will be music, spirit powder, and fun with friends. It starts at 5:00pm and it’s free! Come and enjoy the fun!
