Bishop falls to Silver Valley 58-19

Last Friday the Broncos were blown out by the Silver Valley Trojans who were led by their Running back Eteru (EJ) Ane. At the end of the first quarter the Broncos found themselves down by a small deficit of 7-0 but by the end of the first half Bishop was down 36-6. The Broncos were able to stop the Trojan offense for the most part only allowing 8 points with the score at the end of the third quarter being 44-6. Despite their best efforts the Broncos eventually fell short by the final score of 58-19.

Ane picked up 258 rushing yards on 26 carries scoring 4 touchdowns and averaging 9.9 yards per carry against the Broncos while the Trojans picked up 478 total rushing yards. Sophomore Quarterback Anthony Brown threw for 70 yards with a .625 completion percentage helping to lead his team to victory. For the Broncos sophomore Quarterback Luke McClean had a .500 completion percentage throwing for 149 total yards while senior Running back Mike Molina rushed for 34 yards on 10 carries while the Broncos collectively rushed for 76 yards on 24 total carries.
