Basketball season is coming up, and the girls’ team needs players! A player only needs to be willing to learn and work with the team. Ms. Sharkey, the coach for the team, has some new and improved play ideas to go against who she thinks are the Broncos’ biggest opponents, Desert and Kern Valley. There are going to be some productive fundraisers throughout the year, as well as open gym every Tuesday evening. Last year, the girls’ team had 18 players (including JV and Varsity), but then the numbers went down to 12 players due to injuries and the JV Team was unable to play their last two games.  If you’re interested, contact Ms. Sharkey or go to the open gym on Tuesdays.
