Bronco Tennis takes loss against Burroughs

The Bronco Tennis team suffered a loss to Burroughs on Thursday by a score of 11-7. The singles won 5 points for the team and the doubles won 2 matches worth 2 points. Seniors Cayley Dishion and Kylie Beard beat the #2 doubles 6-4 and dropped their other set 6-4. New team members Cheyenne Yeager and Erika Ellis came in to play the #3 team from Ridgecrest making some great shots and gaining experience, but lost 6-0. Senior Ramneet Kaur held her own along with partner Jordan Winzenread gaining the only other point in doubles defeating the #2 team 7-5, but ended up losing to the #1 team 6-2. In other doubles action Nora Cimino and Josie Dillard lost 6-2, 6-3 and 6-4. Juniors Kori Boxley and Emilee Mora lost 6-2.

The singles earned 5 points for the day with Senior Lily Mcgrale winning all three of her matches 6-2, 6-1 and 6-0. Tami Lee added a point with a 6-0 win, a 6-3 loss and a long fought third set ending in a tie-breaker, losing 7-4.   

Caroline Hagopian also earned a point, winning 6-1 then dropping her last 2 sets 6-1 and 6-0

The team also wanted to wish team mates Lily Mcgrale and Josie Dillard a happy birthday
