The Mammoth Huskies took full control of the HDL’s top spot with a hard-fought 3-1 win Tuesday night. With the win, the Huskies sweep the season series with Bishop, handing the Broncos their only 2 HDL losses.
Mammoth won the first two sets 25-21 and 25-23. Bishop won the third set 23-25, but Mammoth took the win in the last set with the score of 25-21. Coach Riesen indicates the Broncos were led in kills by senior and captain Madi Benninger and in assists by senior captain Riley Van Nest. Thursday, the Broncos will hit the road and take on Rosamond.
