Junior girls upset the seniors in the Powder Puff football game to kick off Homecoming Week. The annual Powder Puff Football game was held on October 13th at John Schwab Field. Cambrie Lanphear and Madyn Weller scored one touchdown each for the juniors in the 2nd quarter, making the score 14-0. Lanphear scored on a quarterback sweep, and Weller’s score came on an interception return. Weller converted both PAT kicks. After the first half, there were no more points on the board, so the final score was 14-0.
Homecoming continues this week with Volleyball today vs. Mammoth and Ironman on Wednesday. Friday, we have the JV football boys kicking off with Tonopah, and the Varsity boys against Cal City.
