BUHS Softball Season Ends in the CIF Second Round

Bishop Varsity softball hosted Roosevelt High School on Tuesday in the second round of playoffs. Bishop lost 15 to 3.

Sienna Fuller threw 7 innings and gave up 10 hits, struck out 4 and made 3 walks.

Coach Lisa Manulito indicates that the Broncos were down just one run, 3-2 in the top of the 6th inning, but lost focus and gave up 7 runs in the 6th  inning and 5 more runs in the 7th inning. 

 

Offensively,

Katya Fierro walked twice and had 1 stolen base

Cadence Nott scored 1 run

Faye Spoonhunter had a sacrifice bunt

Cambrie Lanphear hit a double, 1 stolen base and scored 1 run 

Tannyr Ludwick walked and 1 stolen base

Ellie Boyd walked and had 2 stolen bases

Sienna Fuller was 2 for 2 with a double , 1 walk and 1 run scored

Analee Guerrero was hit by a pitch and had 1 stolen base

 

Coach Lisa Manulito said, “It was a good season for the Bishop Broncos. We would like to thank the girls for their hard work this season and the parents, and fans for the great support all season.”

Armando Santana-Muro, a sophomore at Bishop Union High School. He is 15 years old, and  Armando wants to go to UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) after high school to pursue his dream of becoming a Professional Soccer Player. His favorite subject in school right now is ELA. Armando is a student athlete, He plays Soccer, He is a midfielder, in his free time he likes to hang out with  friends, and he like to do drills at the field with his friends so they can get in shape for the season.
