The broncos traveled to Edwards Air Force Base Tuesday and came home with a 16-4 win in 6 innings over the Desert Scorpions. The Broncos will now host California City Friday to break the tie atop the HDL standings. Cal City handed the Broncos their only league loss earlier this season in Cal City. The Ravens lost a stunner to third place Kern Valley for their only league blemish. Friday’s game is set for a 3:15 first pitch at Bishop’s Tatum Field.
After Friday’s matchup, California City will end the regular season with Kern Valley, while the Broncos will travel to Boron.
