On Tuesday, the Bishop baseball team faced off against Cal City in what turned out to be a challenging game, ending with a score of 21 to 2 in favor of Cal City. Despite the tough loss, the team showcased some notable performances.

Sienna Fuller took the mound for Bishop, demonstrating her skills as a pitcher. She allowed 14 hits during the game, but managed to strike out three batters and issued three walks. Her effort on the field was commendable, even in the face of adversity.

Offensively, there were a few standout players for Bishop. Katya Fierro went 1 for 3 at the plate, contributing with a run scored. Cambrie Lanphear also made her mark, going 1 for 2 with a run scored. Tannyr Ludwick added to the team’s efforts with a hit and a stolen base.

Braydee Momberg and Faye Spoonhunter both executed sacrifice bunts, with Faye also bringing in one run batted in (RBI). While the final score may not reflect it, the team’s determination and individual contributions were evident throughout the game.
