The Bronco JV softball team took on Lee Vining’s varsity team on March 17 and, although they lost 18-5, they demonstrated such improvement on offense. With multiple players cooperating to the score, the team’s momentum is building. Larissa Ariaz and Haley Rhodes shared pitching duties, each throwing 2.5 innings. At the plate, Sophia Stanley had a single, while Kinlei Romero scored a run. Aubree Frechette added a single and scored, and Azul Aranzubia had a single, a triple, and scored 2 runs. Haley Rhodes and Avery McGraw also chipped in with singles, with Haley scoring a run and Avery adding two hits.
