On Thursday, February 20th, The Bishop Bronco Girls basketball team traveled to Strathmore, Ca to take on the #4 seeded Strathmore Spartans. The game started quick with Strathmore scoring first. This is the only lead Strathmore held in the whole game. The Broncos quickly answered within the first minute of the game. The first quarter ended with Bishop up 6-2. In the 2nd quarter Strathmore lessened the lead making it a 1 point game going into the break, Bishop still leading 14-13. The Broncos held a 4-8 point lead the rest of the game with a final score of 30-26. This is the Broncos second upset of the 2025 Division V playoffs. The Broncos will hit the road heading to Fresno’s Sell and Arena to face off against Rosamond who they are 1-1 with in league. The game is set for a 10am tip off in Fresno.
