The Bishop Union lady Broncos soccer team hosted Golden West Trail Blazers in the first round of CIF division for playoffs. 10 minutes into the game the lady Broncos scored when Katya Fierro passed the ball into the center and Alyssa Buchholz was able take a long shot.
Thirty minutes into the game, Brooke Taylor passed the ball to Ellie Crall who was able to score. The Trailblazers were able to score when the Broncos took a penalty just outside of the box in center field. The Broncos ended the first half with the lead 2-1.
Four minutes into the second half Brooke Taylor was able to find the back of the net. The Bishop Broncos ended the game with a score of 3 to 1.
The Broncos advance to the quarterfinals game scheduled at home on February 19th hosting Templeton. The match will start at 3pm.
The lady Broncos will host the Templeton Eagles.
Madyn Weller was named player of the game.
