The Bishop Broncos played at home vs. Delano Tigers for their first round of CIF Playoffs, in the first half Delano scored a early goal, Then in the second half Dayki Ramirez found the back of the net to tie the game for the Broncos, 1-1 The game went to over time with two 10 minute half´s, In the second half of over time Delano came back and score a second goal making it 2-1, Then with 3 minutes left in overtime Hector Ramirez scored the second goal for the Broncos to tie the game again and send them to penalties Milton Mitchel was the first to shoot and he found the back of the net then Delano took their shot and also found the back of the net the broncos were up and Sean Landaverde was up to shoot and the Delano Keeper saved the shot going top right Delano then scored there next PK and up next for the Broncos was Iker Gonzalez and he puts his ball in the back of the net then Delano was up to shoot and they also found the back of the net The broncos then had to score there next penalty in order to stay alive and Hector Ramirez was up to shoot and it went wide unfortunately for the Broncos rsulting in a loss for the Broncos and chances of CIF Championship cut short, Coach Landaverde said the team gave it there all but unfortunately 3 players got injured during the game and couldn’t play anymore, The Broncos finished first in the High Desert league, Coach Landaverde would like to thank assistant Coach Andy Rios and all the parents for helping the team and special thanks to Ms Van Nest for her help and support to the team.
