On February 6th 2025, The Bishop Lady Broncos soccer team ended their regular season play as this year’s High Desert League Champions. The Lady Broncos took on the Cal City Ravens at home for senior night. Senior Ellie Crall lead the team with three goal, Senior Alyssa Buchholz had two goals and three assist, Brooke Taylor had two goals,Freshman Ashley Sandoval had one goal and one assist, and Junior Jessica Santana had one assist.

The final score was 8-0 in favor of the Broncos who are undefeated in league play 12 – 0.  Their over all record moves to 16 – 0. Bishop Lady Broncos will spend next week preparing for the first round of playoffs set for Saturday, February 15, 2025. Coach Bill Dailey said the girls playoff bracket should be posted by the evening of Thursday, February 13.  At that time we will learn if we will have a home game and if we will get moved up to CIF Central Section Division 4.

The player of the game goes to all Seniors; Alyssa Buchholz, Ellie Crall, Sydney Norcross, Gabby Veenker and Claire Vetter. All played exceptionally well for their final regular season game of their high school soccer careers.

Coach Bill Dailey said this team has a lot of depth and has the right attitude and skill sets to make it to the championship game.
