Broncos take on Cal city

Armando Santana-Muro, Iker Gonzalez

The Broncos traveled to California City and played them at their home. Two of the goals were scored by seniors. One being Iker Gonzalez and the other being Hector Ramirez. The coach had some comments about the game and here they are.

Coach’s comments: “Last night the BUHS boys soccer team traveled to play Cal City Ravens the team started slow and in the 38 minute of the first half Iker Gonzalez found the back of the net and scored the first goal assisted by Sean Landaverde. In the second half Hector score the second goal assisted by Iker Gonzalez. The BUHS boys won 2 to 0. Goalie Chava Rios played the first half and had 4 saves and Angel Santana played the second half and had 6 saves. Player of the game goes to Angel Santana who was able to save 6 shots on goal.”

The BUHS Boys soccer team play Frazier at home. The Lady Broncos game kicks off at 3pm and the Boys kick off at 5pm, make sure to be there.

Armando Santana-Muro

Armando Santana-Muro, a sophomore at Bishop Union High School. He is 15 years old, and Armando wants to go to UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) after high school to pursue his dream of becoming a Professional Soccer Player. His favorite subject in school right now is ELA. Armando is a student athlete, He plays Soccer, He is a midfielder, in his free time he likes to hang out with friends, and he like to do drills at the field with his friends so they can get in shape for the season. Armando is a writer for Bronco Round Up, and is interested in writing for sports news.

SALEH MUNASSAR

Saleh Munassar is a senior at Bishop Union High School. After high school Saleh would like to go to a community collage and later transfer to a 4 year. He hopes to work for a real estate company in either California or Nevada, and would also one day like to own his very own real estate company. His favorite subjects in school are auto and marketing. his favorite sport is basketball and his favorite team is the Lakers.
