Rosamond started the game fired up bringing the intensity to the highest level setting a fast and high paced tone to the game. Rosamond came out in a box-and-one defense on point guard Kristin Allen allowing the other Bishop Union players an opportunity to rise to the occasion. Despite the harsh contact while bringing the ball up the court, Bishop was forced to play through the lack of calls. Bishop led by 2 at the half against the Division V CIF champions. Coach Shiloh Smith says, ” The team showed resilience, staying focused and executing our game plan throughout all four quarters”. The final score, 52-39, was accomplished by the composure and defense of the Broncos. The Broncos will face off against the Desert Scorpions January 10th @ 6pm in Bishop. Individual stats below.
