The Broncos season comes to a close with a 28-20 loss to Morro Bay in the CIF Central Section Division 5 semifinals. Bishop’s scores came from Emory Dondero’s pass to brother Dom, a Elijah Reynolds touchdown run, and a 30 yard interception return by Carlos Sualez. The Bronco Defense was led by Senior Linebackers Garin Pritchard and Elijah Reynolds. Pritchard had three sacks and a tackle for a loss. Reynolds finished with 6 solo tackles and 5 assists. Carlos Sualez had the pick six and 5 solo tackles. Freshman Hunter Dailey had 4 solo tackles and two assists. Senior Nello Dondero had 3 solo tackles and three assists. Joe Lent and Layton Henry Rossi each recovered fumbles. Offensively the Broncos Quarterback Emory Dondero completed 13 of 22 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown. Levi Derr caught 4 passes for 109 yards, Richie Talavera and Dom Dondero each caught 4 passes.
