Cross Country meet in Mammoth

The Bishop High School Cross Country team traveled to Mammoth today for a meet against Mammoth. Lee Vining and Big Pine participated as well.
Our runners did great, even at altitude!
Ezekiel Lundgren took second coming in under a minute after the first place Mammoth runner. Tyler Norcross surprised us coming in 2 minutes faster than his last race, and Zavion Cokeley did his best yet, coming in 3 minutes faster than his personal record! Paiten Williams came running through the finish line, despite a hurt ankle. These are tough kids. We are so proud of all the runners!!

Armando Santana-Muro, a sophomore at Bishop Union High School. He is 15 years old, and  Armando wants to go to UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) after high school to pursue his dream of becoming a Professional Soccer Player. His favorite subject in school right now is ELA. Armando is a student athlete, He plays Soccer, He is a midfielder, in his free time he likes to hang out with  friends, and he like to do drills at the field with his friends so they can get in shape for the season.
