The Bishop broncos suffered their first loss of the season falling to Douglas High School 17-6
In a hard-fought battle Friday night.
The Bishop Broncos faced a tough challenge against Juneau Douglas High School, ultimately falling 17-6. After a slow start, Emory Dondero’s 1-yard touchdown run gave the Broncos their only score of the night. Despite a strong defensive effort, led by Elija Reynolds and Carlos Sualez, the team was unable to contain JD’s offense.
Quarterback Emory Dondero showed promise, passing for 202 yards, but the Broncos offense was unable to capitalize on scoring opportunities. The team will regroup and refocus ahead of their next game at Ridgecrest Burroughs High School on Friday Night at 7pm.
