Congratulations to our choirs! Our men’s group received first place in their category. Our women’s group received first place in their category. Our Choir and Honor Choir received first place in their categories. Jared Gonzalez received the overall vocal soloist award, which is only the second time a BUHS student has won the award, and not since 2012. Winning this award is an honor because Jared achieved this award in competition with all levels of schools and all categories of vocal performance groups. Once again congratulations to the BUHS choirs at their successful competition!

My name is Alondra Lizarraga, I am a senior at Bishop Union High School. I came to Bishop during my freshman year of high school. I move houses and cities almost every 2 years but I think my parents have finally settled down here in Bishop. I am fluent in English and Spanish, although my favorite language is Spanish. I love dancing banda, cumbias, salsa and more. I started working at the age of 15, I worked Monday-Friday at Erick Schats Bakery and Saturdays at Denny's. I love babies so I decided to be a postpartum nurse, where I get to work with newborn babies and their moms. I am going to Cal State San Bernardino next school year, I am hoping to get my BSN degree to be able to have my dream job.
Hi my name is Chessy Dondero, and i am currently in my senior year of high school. i have strong skills but school is most definitely not one of them. I play for the high school basketball team as a center and power forward last year, not too sure if I ´ ll be playing this year though. I enjoy weekends better than weekdays. i would describe myself as an honest, self centered, straight forward type of person. I am looking forward to all the senior activities and the last day of school.
