Broncos baseball started the second round of the season with an 8-4 win against the Kern Valley Broncs on Friday, April 19 at Bishops home field. The team started big in the 1st inning and pushed all the way until they took home the win.
Offensively for the Broncos
Jamison Wolfe went 1-1 at bat with a sacrifice hit and an RBI with 1 Base on balls and 1 run.
Victor Esparza went 1-4 at bat with 2 bases, 1 RBI and 1 run.
Reuben Nicholson went 1-2 at bat with an RBI, 2 runs and 2 stolen bases.
Bodie Garcia went 1-3 at bat, got to 2 bases and got 2 RBIs.
Blaise Lemons went 1-1 at bat with a sacrifice and 2RBIs.
Defensively for the
Bodie Garcia showed up and showed out to get the start on the mound and went 5 innings with 4 strikeouts and allowed 3 hits with no runs scored.
Noah Cathey came in for relief for 1 inning and allowed 4 hits and 2 runs.
Jamison Wolfe got to finish it in the 7th inning to finish it up and had 1 strikeout and 1 run on 2 Hits.
The Broncos next game will be away on Tuesday, April 23 against the Frazier Mountain Falcons.
