Kids’ Chance of California is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to provide need-based educational scholarships to the children of California workers who have been fatally or seriously injured on the job. We believe we can make a significant difference in the lives of all children affected by a workplace injury by helping them pursue and achieve their educational goals.
These are meaningful scholarships awarded per year per student. For the 2023/2024 academic school year, we awarded 37 students statewide scholarships totaling $400,002. Scholarships were awarded to each student with financial need last year up to a cap of $15,000. Each year, this cap is re-evaluated based on available funds. We are thrilled to announce that Kids’ Chance of California is currently accepting applications for scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025.
