Wrestling Vaquero Classic Tournament Results

The wrestling team last had a meet at Fernley for the Vaquero Classic Tournament. Six weight classes competed. The major scorers for Bishop were Kano Graves and Michael Trejo. Kano Graves participated in the 157 division and placed 6th while scoring 15 points. Michael Trejo participated in the 165 division and also placed 6th scoring 15 points. 3 other boys scored 3 points in their respective classes. These were Blake Braaten in the 138 class, Wayland Shultz in the 150 class, and Jaidyn Mckellips in the 165 class. The boys played well. The next wrestling meet is on January 31st at Kern Valley.

Christian Carrington is a senior at Bishop Union High School. After high school Christian plans on attending Cerro Coso Community College for two years and study Civil Engineering. He then plans to transfer to the University of Nevada Reno to continue his studies. His favorite subject in school is journalism. Christian is a student-athlete and plays on the golf team. In his free time, Christian enjoys golfing with his dad and spending time with his friends. He can’t wait to graduate and take the next step in life.

Adii Becerra is a senior at Bishop Union High School. In Bronco Round Up Adii’s role is photography. Adii’s plans after graduation are to continue her schooling at Cerro Coso and then transfer to become a preschool teacher. At school she enjoys going to the elementary school to help little kids. Out of school she loves to spend time with her little boy. Every night Adii takes Jackson on a walk to get to the outdoors.
