The Bishop Union High School Lady Broncos Girl’s Soccer team traveled to Frazier Mountain to play the Falcons on January 16. At the end of the first half the score was 7-0 in favor of Bishop Broncos. The Lady Broncos came out in the second half and scored 4 additional goals ending the game with a score of 11-0 in favor of the Broncos. The Broncos defense held strong and prevented zero shots on the goal.
Ellie Crall led the team with 4 goals and 1 assist, Jillian Veenker scored 2 goals, and Jaden Davis, Alyssa Buchholz, Brooklyn Braaten, Katya Fierro, and Claire Vetter each had one goal. Alyssa Buchholz and Brooke Taylor both had 2 assist. Brooklyn Braaten, Madyn Weller, and Riley Van Nest each had an assist.
The Lady Broncos continue to improve and are preparing for Thursday, January 18th home game against the High Desert League number 2 ranked team the Mammoth Huskies.
In the nine games of the season the Lady Broncos have out scored their opponents 78 goals to one scored against.
