Broncos continue to dominate

Our BUHS Soccer boys team had a game yesterday against the Rosamond Road Runners. Our Broncos beat the Road Runners 4-2. The Broncos went down 1-0 in the first half, but Hector Ramirez(Junior) scored a goal and evened the score during the first half. In the second half the Broncos started off strong and kept possession of the ball on the opponent’s side for most of the 2nd half. Victor Esparza (Senior) scored a header to give the Broncos an early lead in the second half. Rosamond scored to even the score back up. The Broncos took that as motivation and played harder and got 2 goals to go in the back of the net before full time. Juan David Sandoval (senior) scored the 3rd goal, and Iker Gonzalez(Junior) scored a free kick to get the 4th goal. 

 

Final score 4-2

The Broncos have a home game against Desert on 12/12/23.

Armando Santana-Muro
Armando Santana-Muro, a sophomore at Bishop Union High School. He is 15 years old, and  Armando wants to go to UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) after high school to pursue his dream of becoming a Professional Soccer Player. His favorite subject in school right now is ELA. Armando is a student athlete, He plays Soccer, He is a midfielder, in his free time he likes to hang out with  friends, and he like to do drills at the field with his friends so they can get in shape for the season. Armando is a writer for Bronco Round Up, and is interested in writing for sports news.
Andrew Esparza
Andrew Esparza
Andrew Esparza is a senior at Bishop Union High School. After high school Andrew would like to go to lineman school in hopes to work for an electrician company in California or Nevada. His favorite subjects in school are com graph art and media and digital broadcasting. Andrew is a student athlete and he plays soccer. He is one of the two captains of the schools soccer team. His position in soccer is right back. He can play multiple positions but he prefers to play defense. Andrew in his free time likes to travel, ride quads, and spend time with family. He is a journalist for the Bronco Roundup.
