Bishop Broncos Dominate Kern Valley Broncs

The Bishop Broncos traveled to Kern Valley to face off with long time rivals the KV Broncs last Friday night. Bishop Broncos beat the Kern Valley Broncs 43-12. The Broncos improved their record to 8-1 overall and 4-0 in the High Desert League play. The Broncos now host Rosamond this Friday for senior night and the final game of the regular season at 7pm at JohnSchwab Field. 

Boden St. Marie had a big night throwing a pair of touchdown passes and rushing for 2 also. Levi Derr caught both touchdown passes. Austin Powell rushed for 106 yards on 10 carries and scored a touchdown. Elijah Reynolds also rushed for a touchdown. 

Defensively the Broncos were led by Wes Jorgensen and Garrin Pritchard with 6 tackles each. Malachi Orrick had a sack and Dom Dondero and Dre Garnder each had a tackle for loss.

Players of the game vs. Kern Valley Overall Boden St. Marie had a pair of touchdown passes and also rushed for two scores. Offensive Levi Derr had a pair of touchdown receptions. Defensive Malachi Orrick had a quarterback sack and a hurry. Orrick had 4 total tackles in the game. Special Teams Blaise Lemons Special teams captain had another great game leading the special teams units.

My name is Jason Mullner, and I am a Senior at Bishop Union High School. I was born in Upland, California on April 18th, 2006. I am half Peruvian and half white. I moved around a lot when I was little starting from sunny Southern California in the cities of  Upland, Ontario, and Rancho Cucamonga to moving to Bishop, California. I moved to Bishop when I was 13 and have been here ever since. I am a student-athlete and play football, my positions are tight end and outside linebacker. I like to hang out with friends and go to the gym in my free time. This is my first year in Bronco RoundUp and I'm looking forward to being in this class.

Landin Abbott
Landin Abbott is a senior at Bishop Union High School. He is a student athlete that plays baseball and hockey as a team captain. After high school, Landin wants to go to Northwestern Lineman College in Idaho. His interests and hobbies include photography and art, he has always been interested in taking good photos. He also really enjoys playing hockey, he's been playing the sport since he was 3 years old.  In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his friends just driving around listening to music or going off-roading. Landin is a very good person to talk to and likes helping others out if they need help with anything.
