Jared Gonzalez-Grimaldo is a senior this year at BUHS. He first arrived in the BUSD in sixth grade and has been enrolled in the Bishop School District ever since. His favorite thing about the school was the band program that he’s been in the whole time here. He started playing football when he first moved to Bishop and has other hobbies like drama club. His biggest hobby really includes everything that has to do with some sort of music. He has two classes that were his favorite. One of them was Band but the other was Medical Assistant 1. He is overall satisfied with how he spent his time here. He said that he has had a lot of fun and has made a lot of friends. His plan for after high school is to attend the University of Nevada Reno and become a travel nurse. His main piece of advice for any new students or incoming freshmen is to, “Give yourself time to rest and to do your own thing. Don’t worry about what others think of you. People are too busy worrying about that and they forget to have fun.” Jared looks forward to expanding his education and joining into adulthood.
