Vanessa Godinez is currently a senior at BUHS. Throughout her years in high school, Vanessa has kept a 3.0 gpa and has made it into honor rolls three times. She hope that this year she will make it into honor roll once again for a fourth time. Both thrilled and sad that she is graduating this year because she has made so many beautiful moments with her friends. She is content to know that she will have a lot of wonderful memories to reflect on when she graduates from high school. Her favorite part about being here at BUHS is the ability to meet new people and make many friends.
Although she has a number of career aspirations, if it came down to picking one, it would be to work as a veterinarian. After high school, she plans to enroll into Cerro Coso community college for two years before transferring to Chico State. She wants to major in animal sciences and later on earn a doctorate degree for veterinary medicine. In ten years, she hopes to see herself as a vet for the Bishop Veterinary Hospital.
I asked Vanessa what advice would she give to incoming freshmen?
Her response was “Stay focused on your work and don’t let yourself get behind because later on you’ll regret it.”
