The Bishop Broncos improve to 4-1 on the season with a Friday night win over Rim of the World 14-7. Rim jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first half, but a pair of Bronco touchdowns made the score 14-7 at the half. The game developed into a tough defensive battle in the second half. Bishop threatened to score several times, but fumbled inside the 5 yards line once and missed a pair of field goal attempts.
Boden St. Marie scored both touchdowns for the Broncos offense. Wes Jorgensen led the way for the Bronco defense with a huge night. Jorgensen recorded 6 tackles for loss and made 9 solo tackles in the game.
Next up for Broncos is the start of High Desert League with a trip to Boron to take on the 4-1 Bobcats. The last two HDL championships have come down to the Bronco/Bobcat game.

Boden St. Marie Senior quarterback had two rushing touchdowns while rushing for a team high 68 years. St. Marie also had 113 yards passing on 8 completions. Special Teams Player of the game. Milton Michel Junior punter and kick off specialist had two touchbacks on kickoffs and also delivered a 4th quarter 50 yard punt pinning Rim of the World deep for their final drive.
