Bishop Bronco Varsity Volleyball traveled to Desert on Tuesday September 19 winning 3 sets, 25-10, 25-13, 25-18. Coach Linda Frigerio indicated that the first victory let some less experienced Broncos have some playing time and valuable touches.
Coach Frigerio indicates that Broncos served well as a team at 90% with Evie Carter, Lily Morrison and Scout Flynn serving at 100%. Coach notes that Delaney Kalk had some good kills and led the team 9. Meghenna Westervelt also had seven kills.
Frigerio notes that Sienna Fuller blocked and hit well in the opposite hitter position and contributed strong serve reception with 6 digs.
Coach Frigerio says that the entire team played an excellent defense against an unpredictable and often out of system Desert team.
