Bronco volleyball bounced back from their Tuesday loss to Mammoth with a 5 game win over Rosamond.The Roadrunners opened play beating the Broncos in game one, but Bishop railed to win the match.
According to Coach Linda Fridgerio Meghenna Westervelt was the player of the game with nine kills, had the highest team hitting percentage, and had an impressive 28 digs.
Setter Riley Van Nest had 32 assists and the team hi serving aces. Hitters Delaney Kalk, Lilly Morrison, and Liz Ellsworth also had powerful kills racking up 10, seven, and seven respectively. Frigerio notes that defensive specialist Sophie Dishion, and Scout Flynn played extremely well with their serve receive, hustle, and heart. Scout Flynn also had a perfect serving percentage. Sienna Fuller and Evie Carter added hustle and energy to the team to lead to the victory.
Next up for the Broncos is a weekend trip to California City for the Ravens Tournament.
