Kimberly Perez is currently a senior at BUHS. She is a very involved student and has been throughout her four years of high school. I asked her what she has been involved in during her time at BUHS.
“This year I am currently involved in the BUHS Dance Team and have been on the team for all four years of high school and I am also the Co-Captain for the team for the 2023-2024 season, and I am also involved in Link Crew,” Kimberly said. “But over my high school years I was involved in ASB for 2 years and I served as the vice president for my class, I was the Secretary for Youth Co my freshman year and then my sophomore year I was the vice president of Youth Co, and during my junior year I was involved in Link Crew as well, and I was a part of the Every 15 Minutes program.”
I then asked her what her goals are for her senior year.
“My goal for senior year is to make so many memories with my classmates throughout my senior year,” Kimberly said. “Also to keep having good grades and participate in all of the school activities and events.”
I continued to ask her what she was looking forward to her senior year.
“I am looking forward to going to my last homecoming and prom with my friends,” Kimberly said. Also Grad Night with the Senior Class, Graduation, and Senior Night for the Dance Team.”

“My favorite memory of high school so far is dancing during halftime under the Friday night lights and making so many memories with my dance team members,” Kimberly said. Also Palu’s Awesome homeroom class, having lunch in Palu’s everyday and hanging out with friends.”
