Varsity Volleyball Returns Home with a Victory over Lone Pine

This week Bishop Broncos Varsity Volleyball traveled to Lone Pine on Tuesday, August 29th and won with the final score being 3-0, with Peyton Kalk making 8 kills and no errors with the help of her teammate Elizabeth Ellsworth. 

Coach Frigerio indicates that sophomore Riley Van Nest made some amazing sets with a result of 27 assists. Junior Meghenna Westervelt was successful on her first outing as an outside hitter with a positive percentage and zero errors.

The next match Bronco Volleyball begins league plays at Kern Valley on Tuesday September 5th.

Alexa Duran Jimenez is a Senior at Bishop Union High School. She was born and raised in Bishop CA. She likes to hang out with friends and family, enjoys skiing and she loves animals. Her overall goal for senior year is to pass all her classes, get good grades and enjoy it while she can. After high school she plans to stay in Bishop for a year and later on she would like to travel.

Hi, I am Leslie Torres. I am a senior this year, after high school I want to become an ultrasound tech. I am a part of  link crew this year.  I like spending time with friends and family. I want to travel to new places, especially to Europe. This year I am looking forward to getting to know new people. Mostly I am excited to graduate high school, to accomplish my dreams and spend more time with family and friends.
