Bronco Volleyball Wins Home Opener

Bishop Union High School Varsity Volleyball won against Immanuel Christian on Friday, August 25th at their first home game of the year. The final score was 3-0, with Riley Van Nest making  a total of 19 points.

Delaney Kalk made an amazing spike that got the crowd excited and gave her team a point. Throughout the last set the BUHS girls were making some mistakes that gave Immanuel Christian a small lead, but after coming together and talking about the mistakes that were being made the Broncos were able to get the lead and win their first home game. 

The next match for both JV and Varsity girls is in Lone Pine, Tuesday August 29th.

Alexa Duran Jimenez is a Senior at Bishop Union High School. She was born and raised in Bishop CA. She likes to hang out with friends and family, enjoys skiing and she loves animals. Her overall goal for senior year is to pass all her classes, get good grades and enjoy it while she can. After high school she plans to stay in Bishop for a year and later on she would like to travel.

Hi, I am Leslie Torres. I am a senior this year, after high school I want to become an ultrasound tech. I am a part of  link crew this year.  I like spending time with friends and family. I want to travel to new places, especially to Europe. This year I am looking forward to getting to know new people. Mostly I am excited to graduate high school, to accomplish my dreams and spend more time with family and friends.
