Bishop Bronco Varsity Softball traveled to Kern Valley and fell short this Tuesday

The Broncos lost a tough one to the Kern Valley Broncs in a score of 10-0.

Defensively for the broncos Riley Van Nest pitched 4 innings she allowed 6 runs, on 7 hits, 4 k’s, 3 base on balls and 1 hit by pitch. Sienna Fuller came in for the Broncos and pitched 1 inning and she allowed 4 runs, 2 hits and 1 base on balls.

Offensively for the Broncos, they put the ball in play 11 times but just could not get past the Kern Valley Defense. Kristen Sorenson was able to bunt and reach on an error for the broncos, Hope McKee was also able to reach on an error. Riley Van Nest was 1 for 2, Katya Fierro was also 1 for 2.

The Broncos are now 3-2 in league and 4-3 overall. Next up we will host Frazier  Mountain for a double header on Friday, April 21st. The first game starts @ noon and the next game will follow.
