Last week the Avid students went on an amazing AVID trip to visit some amazing colleges. We left Tuesday morning and that afternoon went and visited the college of UC Davis. It was a really huge campus with really chill people. The next day we visited UC Berkeley and San Fransisco State University. Berkeley was also an amazing college to visit with a bunch of students roaming the college. I was able to see a good friend of mine Cashus Puhvel who gave us a tour of most of the campus. We were able to visit the Golden Gate Bridge that night and got amazing pictures. We ended up driving to Sanoma and going to a crazy hotel with many problems. There was a drug deal going on in the hotel so we all decided to drive an hour back to San Fransisco and stayed at a better hotel. The next day we went to visit Chico State which was also a great experience. We were able to do fun activities throughout the trip and blast music on the bus. The food was pretty good and it was fun hanging with friends the whole week.
