Bronco Baseball wins a crucial high desert league game

The Bronco Baseball team traveled to California City, April 12th to win a big game 9-0 over the Ravens. The Broncos starting pitcher Bodie Garcia had an outstanding game on the mound with 14 strikeouts and allowed just 2 hits in 6 ⅓ innings. Cain Omohundro came in to close the game in the 7th and pitched the final 2 outs and struck out one and had a ground ball to end the game for the Broncos. 

 

Offensively for the Broncos Cain Omohundro went 1-2 with an RBI, 3 walks, and 3 runs scored. Riley Eropkin went 2-5 with an RBI and a run scored. Albert Cano went 2-4 with a double, a triple, 2 RBI’s and 2 runs scored. Reese Dondero went 2-4 with a double and an RBI and an amazing day behind the plate. Caleb Gillem went 1-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Will Kemp went 1-5 with a run scored. Blaise Lemons went 1-2 with a run scored. 

 

Bronco Baseball improves to 4-2 overall and 4-1 in league play. They will be traveling to Kern Valley Tuesday April 18th to play a much improved Kern Valley baseball team from the past years, and a must win for the Broncos.
