De La Mora decides to retire after 35 years of teaching. She started teaching in 1988 and has always been a Spanish teacher. After retirement she plans on moving to Lake Chapal Ajijic Mexico and enjoy the beautiful lake and views. She really enjoyed teaching and stayed because of the students. She feels as if its time to move on and live another chapter of her life in a different country.
