The 2023 Donald M. Slager Sunset Foundation scholarship application is due this Friday, March 10th.

The scholarship is available for the class of 2023 and must be printed, signed, and mailed with all attachments by March 10th. There is both an Academic Scholarship and a Vocational Scholarship available.

The Foundation annually awards financial scholarships to students who are graduates of high schools in Inyo and
Mono County. The Foundation also supports students already enrolled in college, and students pursuing advanced and graduate degrees. Financial need is considered in awarding most scholarships; however, some awards each year are based solely on outstanding academic merit and community engagement. Scholarships given by the Foundation vary in amount and length, but the typical scholarship to a graduating high school senior is $5000 a year for four years.

Be sure to turn in the Slager Scholarship before the deadline this Friday.
